I am a Software Engineer specialising in web development. Since 2022, I have worked on applications used in real-world environments, contributing across backend and frontend and to the continuous evolution of existing systems.

I have developed broad hospitality-industry knowledge by working on hotel products, booking engines, and integrations with external channels and providers such as Booking and GIATA. I make a point of understanding that context before changing the code: how each piece fits, what might break, and how to verify that the solution addresses the real problem.

Since 2022, I have built and evolved web products for the hospitality industry. I work on existing applications that must remain operational while new features, integrations, and product changes are introduced.

My scope spans backend services, frontend interfaces, data persistence, and communication with external systems. This requires understanding the complete flow before modifying it and verifying behaviour after every change.

Buying a product that does not yet exist

A custom neon sign does not fit a conventional catalogue: before purchasing, users need to define the text, style, and dimensions, preview the result, and know its price.

02 / Solution

Configuration and management in one product

The flow lets users customise a neon sign with a live preview and price, add it to their cart, or submit their own design, while the administration area centralises products, pricing, orders, and requests.

03 / Decisions

The server remains the source of truth

Pricing is recalculated on the server before the order is persisted. Prisma and PostgreSQL structure the domain; Supabase handles data and files; Docker and Nginx support the self-hosted deployment.

A private bot that connects a Futmondo league to Telegram to check the market and finances, manage bids, and receive scheduled summaries without repeating the manual journey through the application.

Too many steps for a frequent task

Reviewing the market, calculating increases, and checking the balance required constantly switching between related operations.

02 / Solution

The complete flow inside Telegram

Commands, interactive buttons, and scheduled summaries bring queries and operations together without automating sensitive decisions.

03 / Decisions

Isolating integrations and processes

The client encapsulates the external API; Flask receives verified webhooks, and the scheduler runs separately from Gunicorn to prevent duplicate tasks.

Demonstrated impact

A personal project used in a real league: it centralises queries, bid increases, and balance updates, removing those manual steps without claiming unmeasured metrics.

Verifiable quality

Public CI, mocked external services, and an automated suite covering the API, domain, bot, scheduler, and error handling.

A flow connecting two different data models.

I implemented an integration that queries the official Booking API from an external system, transforms the received data into the contract expected by GIATA, and sends it to complete the synchronisation.

    Retrieve the data

    The source system queries the official Booking API and retrieves the information to be synchronised.

  2. 02 / Transform

    Adapt the contract

    A dedicated transformer converts and organises Booking data according to the structure required by GIATA.

  3. 03 / Push

    Complete the synchronisation

    The transformed payload is sent to GIATA, completing the flow between both external providers.

My responsibility

Implementation of the complete synchronisation journey: data retrieval, transformation, and delivery.

Technical decision

Isolate the adaptation in a transformer to separate the Booking and GIATA contracts from the rest of the system.

Outcome

A defined pull, transform, and push flow for synchronising information between the two providers.

I use Claude CLI from the terminal to accelerate exploration, implementation, and debugging. Specialised agents and skills review the outcome from different perspectives; the final decision and responsibility for every change remain mine.
